INITIAL RESPONSE

Personal safety is about risk reduction, using good common sense and trusting your instincts:

  • Call 911 to report suspicious persons or activities inside the building

  • Then call Building Security (312) 751-1091

If you find yourself in immediate danger, call 911 and then the Building Security;

  • Stay calm
  • Get away at the first opportunity

 

SECONDARY RESPONSE

& FOLLOW UP

  • Do not leave valuables such as laptops, purses, wallets, smartphones, or tablets unattended
  • Keep personal items in a secure location
  • Avoid walking alone at night unless absolutely necessary
  • Avoid shortcuts and dark, isolated areas
