INITIAL RESPONSE

When you see fire, smoke or something burning:

  • R - Remove individuals from danger
  • A - Activate the fire pull station/Call 911 (Pull station located at the top of the stairs)
  • A - Activate the fire pull station/Call 911 (Pull station located at the top of the stairs)
  • C - Close all doors
  • E - Evacuate the area
  • ----------------------------------

If you hear the fire alarm, leave the Building

To extinguish a small fire, locate the ABC fire extinguisher:

  • P - Pull the pin
  • A - Aim the nozzle at base of fire
  • S - Squeeze the handles together
  • S - Sweep from side to side

ABC fire extinguisher is used for all types of fires
